Things to do in Santa Pola

Everything you can actually book, with the price and the length shown before you click through. From nine euros and half an hour, to a whole afternoon under sail.

Not one of them needs a car. They all leave from the fishing port or sit inside the town, and the only one that goes further — the Algar waterfalls — includes the transfer and picks up here. If you flew into Alicante without hiring anything, none of this is closed to you.

Half an hour: crossing to Tabarca

All three leave from the fishing port at Avenida de los Baños 1. That is not the marina, and mixing the two up is the most common mistake of the day.

Half a morning or half an afternoon

For when you want a plan rather than just a crossing, without losing the whole day to it.

The whole afternoon

Both need booking ahead, and both are the day rather than part of it.

With children, in one line

The two that work are the glass-bottom catamaran — the big steady boat, twenty-five minutes, stops over the marine reserve — and Pola Park, which is a funfair inside the town and costs ten euros.

The one that does not: the first-dive experience does not take children under ten, and the guided snorkelling asks for a minimum of four people. Better to know before you book than at the pontoon.

If what you want is a plan, not a list

This page is a catalogue: it is for deciding and booking. Everything about the island itself — timetables, prices, what to take — is on the Tabarca page.

Still deciding where to stay?

If you are reading this before you travel, where you sleep decides all of the above: stay within a walk of the fishing port and all three Tabarca crossings are five minutes from your door.

Prices, durations and ratings were checked product by product on GetYourGuide on 23 August 2026, read from each page's own structured data rather than the listing, which interleaves prices from unrelated activities. «From» is a floor, not a promise: it moves with the date and the season. What is said about each activity — which boat rides steadiest, which asks for a minimum, which ticket lets you sleep on the island — comes from living here. Every booking link is an affiliate link: if you book we earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and it changes neither the order nor what we say about any of them.
